Arabic MAqam Ensemble
Arabic MAqam Ensemble is considered as one of the most famous music ensembles in the Middle-East. In 2006 Maias established a flexible music group "MAqam Ensemble" in Vienna, specializing in classical Arabic music. Since its inception the ensemble had enjoyed tremendous success in Europe and the Middle East having performed over 200 concerts in 31 countries. The ensemble is specialized in performing Middle-eastern and Arabic music with a modern, structured but accessible approach, all the while preserving the spirit and character of the arabic music and art, amalgamating classical Arab music traditions with the Western performance practice, with the underlying idea of bringing Arab music to broader audiences.
MAias Alyamani

MAias is considered one of the foremost Arab artists of today. He has performed and shared his music all over the world with leading soloists. Overseen by Winton Marsalis and collaborating with Dominick Farinacci and other JALC artists, MAias has curated "Arabic Nights at Jazz at Lincoln Centre Doha” in 2014 &15 presenting Arabic music fusions to new audiences . Since 2016 MAias collaborates with composer Dana Alfardan; working on many musical projects such as soundtracks for Qatar Airways, album of Asala Nasri, album of Qatar Museum, and 25th Qatar open tennis - tournament final ceremony.
