Angela Gheorghiu
Angela Gheorghiu, the world’s most glamorous and gifted opera star (New York Sun). Since her RoyalOpera debut she has appeared at the world’s leading opera houses and concert halls around theworld, her repertory including, among others, Mimì in La bohème, Violetta in La traviata, Juliette(Roméo et Juliette), Micaëla (Carmen), Liù (Turandot). She has recorded widely for EMI Classics/Warner Classics and Decca and has received numerous international artistic honours, including theEuropean Cultural Award for Music, multiple Gramophone awards and twice the Female Artist of theYear award at the Classical BRIT Awards.
Jeff Cohen
Mr. Cohen is currently a professor of mélodie and Lied at the Conservatoire National as well as theAcadémie de l’Opéra de Paris. In 2019 Jeff Cohen was named Commandeur des Arts et des Lettresby the French government. After studies at The Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore, Jeff’s interest inFrench music brought him to Paris where he studied at the Conservatoire National. He hasperformed with singers and instrumentalists such as Roberto Alagna, June Anderson, Cecilia Barto-Li, Jane Birkin, etc.He has assisted conductors such as Sir Mark Elder, Christopher Hogwood, JohnNelson on recordings with Decca, EMI and Warner.
