The Swingles Singers
Known as the "Vocal Symphony Orchestra", the Swinger Singers is the originator of the a cappella vocal trend. The group has been in existence formore than 50 years and has received numerous praises for its reputation. Their performances transcend musical boundaries, ranging from baroque,classical, pop, jazz, folk and contemporary music, and they are even better at imitating musical instruments with vocals. Tchaikovsky's "1812Overture", in which the group imitates the sound cannons, is hailed as one of the best in the history of music. They have won five Grammy Awards andproduced soundtracks for famous films such as Sex and the City and Glee, while fashion brand Saint Laurent ever designed costumes for the group.
