HUANG Yi


As one of the most exciting Chinese conductors in the world, Mr. Huang Yi is currently the Music Director  of Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra, Principal Conductor of the China Philharmonic Orchestra, Artistic  Director and Chief Conductor of Kunming Nie’er Symphony Orchestra. He also was Chief Conductor of  China National Ballet Symphony Orchestra. In recent years Mr. Huang has successfully conducted  Konzerthausorchester Berlin, Frankfurt Symphony Orchestra, Brandenburg Symphony Orchestra. He  has worked closely with leading vocalists and soloists.

ZHANG Liping


Zhang Liping is currently serving as an Associate Dean (Faculty) at the School of Music, The Chinese  University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen. She is a leading soprano who performed at the world’s major opera  houses including the Royal Opera Covent Garden, the Metropolitan Opera New York, the Opera de Paris,  NCPA etc. to sing under the baton of Loren Mazel, Daniel Oren, James Colon amongst others; and to sing  opposite esteemed artists such as Placido Domingo, Leo Nucci, etc.


GUO Sen


Guo Sen graduated from Shanghai Conservatory of Music under the tutelage of Liu Ruo’e, and studied  with Zhou Xiaoyan for the postgraduate study. In 2002, she performed Queen of the Night in Mozart’s The  Magic Flute at the Semperoper Dresden in Germany. After that, she was invited to perform the same role  by major opera houses in Europe. In the same year, she signed a contract with the Zurich Opera House  and is its Chinese soprano soloist with the longest contract at the opera house. She has played the leading  roles in dozens of operas and gained extensive experience in opera singing and acting.


WANG Kang

Australian-Chinese tenor Kang Wang is quickly becoming one of the most sought-after young lyric tenors  in the opera world. He is a former member of the Lindemann Young Artist Development Program of the  Metropolitan Opera and a finalist in the 2017 Cardiff Singer of the World competition. Wang has collaborated with the Metropolitan Opera (New York, USA), Sydney Opera House (Australia), among others.  Orchestras he has performed with include: Munich Philharmonic Orchestra, London Philharmonic  Orchestra and many others.


ZHANG Long

Zhang Long graduated from Shanghai Conservatory of Music in 2015 with a Bachelor's Degree, and  graduated from Peking University Opera Research Institute in 2018 with a Master's Degree. He has been  a member of the Opera Workshop at the Bavarian State Opera House in Munich, Germany, from  2017-2019, and is the first Chinese singer to be inducted into the Opera Workshop of this world-class  theater. It is also the first Chinese singer to join the Opera Studio of this world-class theater, which also  launched Zhang Long's career as a professional singer on the international opera stage. In today's world  opera scene, the young Chinese tenor Zhang Long is considered to be one of the most promising lyric  tenors of the young generation.


GUANGZHOU SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA


Since its founding in 1957, the Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra (GSO) has developed into one of China’s  most artistically superb and vibrant orchestral institutions. Beginning in 2000, the GSO was sent on  numerous tours by the Ministry of Culture and the Guangdong Provincial Government, visiting Austria,  Germany, the United Kingdom, France, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Egypt, and Australia, among  others. The GSO has graced the stages of the Goldenensaal of Vienna’s Musikverein, the Théâtre des  Champs-Élysées in Paris, Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw, the Cairo Opera House, the Sydney Opera  House, among other world-famous venues.
